    Hey! Here I am to speak out some important information that will help you. If I don’t mistake you are going to take the IELTS test. For your best preparation, you are searching for Recent IELTS speaking topics question and answer. In 2021 it is not the right decision to memorise this. You can practice with these topics but don’t memorise the answer and do not copy in real tests.

    IELTS speaking topics are divided into 3 parts, 1.Part one, 2. Part two, 3. Part three.

    In this section you will get Recent IELTS speaking topics 2023: Part 1

    In part one, the examiner will ask 3-5 general questions in IELTS speaking test on familiar topics like about you, your hobbies, Study, Home, Work, etc. You can get a list of topics and questions that are very recent. In the section, I will disclose some recent part one topis that are asked by the examiner. The part 1 topics list is as flow:

    ELTS Speaking Part 1: Overview

    1. Duration: 4-5 minutes.
    2. Content: The examiner will ask you general questions about yourself and a range of familiar topics such as home, family, work, studies, hobbies, interests, and daily routines.
    3. Question Types: Questions might include:
      • Yes/No questions (e.g., “Do you like music?”)
      • Wh- questions (e.g., “What kind of music do you like?”)
      • Choice questions (e.g., “Do you prefer pop or rock music?”)
    4. Purpose: Part 1 aims to make you feel at ease by asking simple questions that you shouldn’t have to think too deeply about. It’s essentially a warm-up for the later parts of the speaking test.

    Most common Question and topics in Part 1

    In IELTS Speaking Part 1, the examiner typically asks you about personal topics to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Here are some of the most common questions and topics you might encounter in this section:

    Personal Information:

    • Can you tell me your name?
    • Where are you from?
    • Do you work or are you a student?
    • What do you like to do in your free time?

    Hometown:

    • Describe your hometown.
    • What do you like about your hometown?
    • Are there any changes happening in your hometown recently?

    Studies and Work:

    • What is your area of study/work?
    • Why did you choose this field of study/work?
    • Do you enjoy your studies/work? Why or why not?

    Hobbies and Interests:

    • What do you like to do in your free time?
    • Do you have any hobbies or interests?
    • How did you become interested in your hobbies?

    Family:

    • Do you have a big or small family?
    • What activities do you like to do with your family?
    • Are you closer to your mother or father? Why?

    Daily Routine:

    • What is your typical daily routine?
    • Do you prefer mornings or evenings?
    • How do you usually spend your evenings?

    Food and Cooking:

    • Do you like cooking?
    • What type of food do you enjoy?
    • Do you prefer eating out or cooking at home?

    Travel and Holidays:

    • Do you enjoy traveling?
    • What was your most memorable holiday?
    • Are there any places you’d like to visit in the future?

    Friends:

    • Do you have many friends?
    • How do you usually spend time with your friends?
    • What qualities do you value in a friend?

    Future Plans:

    • What are your future career plans?
    • Do you plan to continue studying?
    • Where do you see yourself in five years?

    These are just a few examples of the types of questions and topics that might come up in IELTS Speaking Part 1. It’s important to practice answering these questions with clear and coherent responses while showcasing your English language skills. Remember to provide detailed answers and use a range of vocabulary and grammar structures to demonstrate your proficiency.
